From 19th to 24th of October Bulgarian national goalball team will take part in European goalball championship in Assens, Denmark. The town of the west coast of the Funen island at the shore of the Little Belt.

For the first time bulgarian goalballists will compete in division B. The participants are from ten countries: Denmark, Great Britain, The Netherlands, Turkey, Finland, Russia, Bulgaria, Israel, Germany and Italy. In group one are the teams of Denmark, Italy, Turkey, The Netherlands and Bulgaria. In group two are the teams of Germany, Finland, Great Britain, Israel and Russia.

On thursday 21st of October bulgarian national team will play against:
- Denmark at 9 o'clock (local time)
- The Netherlands at 15 o'clock (local time)
- Turkey at 19 o'clock (local time).

On Friday 22nd of October will play against Italy at 12 o'clock (local time).

Bulgarian Goalball team: Ivan Yanev - captitan, players - Veselin Kushnerenkov, Dobroslav Iliev, Ivailo Vytov, Aleksandar stoyanov, Nikolai Zhelyazkov. Mihail Iliev - masseur. Deivis Vidolov - trainer.
