The Vitosha club was established in the summer of 2001 by group of young people, most of which – degree students. At first the name of the club was Sports club for people with disabilities Vitosha. The name was changed to National Organization for Sports and Integration (NOSI) Vitosha in 2006 by the General Assembly of the club. The decision was made on grounds of extending the field of activities the organization was involved in. The social integration of the disabled people was added to the sport activities. The final name Sport Club for Integration “Vitosha” was accepted in 2008.

So far the club has organized 8 global tournaments and many chess competitions. The goalball Vitosha team participates regularly in all national and most international tournaments. Vitosha tam players are the backbone of Bulgarian National Goalball team.
Our chess talents are also participating in international events which contributes to their further development.
One of our greatest challenges are the Salsa dance trainings for visually challenged people. Our club is the unique provider of such activity for Bulgaria.
More useful activities are in the planning phase and we hope we would be able to implement them as well.
